ALMOND CAKE RECIPE
Amazing combination of almond and brown sugar which are in the middle of the cake.
Ingredients
* 235 gr. sugar
* 117 gr. oil
* 400 gr. milk
* 480 gr. self-rising flour
* 1/3 tsp. salt
* 3 tbsp. baking powder
* 2 eggs
* Almond mix
* 1 glass of coarsely ground almonds
* 120 gr. dark brown sugar
* 4 tbsp. flour (cutters)
* 3 tbsp. cinnamon
* 5 tbsp. oil
Instructions
1. In a bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder and salt.
2. In the mixer bowl, beat the eggs for 3 minutes at high speed. Add the sugar and continue for another 3 minutes. Lower the speed of the mixer and add the oil, then alternately the milk with the flour (starting and ending with the flour).
3. Put the almonds, brown sugar, 4 spoons of flour, cinnamon and oil in another bowl and mix very well using your fingers.
4. Take a round mold that opens (with a hole in the middle), butter and flour it. Pour half the dough mixture first, cover with the almond mixture and finish with the rest of the dough.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 50-60 minutes.
