RECIPE FOR PEAR CAKE

This aromatic cake contains a lot of spices, so if you don't like them that much, you can reduce the amount.
Ingredients
* 660 gr. pears cleaned and cut into pieces
* 400 gr. sugar
* 375 gr. all purpose flour
* 1 tbsp. salt
* 1 1/2 tbsp. soda
* 1 tbsp. nutmeg
* 1 tbsp. cinnamon
* 1/2 tsp. clove
* 4 eggs (only the whites)
* 160 ml of oil
* 110 gr. walnuts (baked for 10 minutes in the oven and coarsely ground)

Instructions
1. Put the pears in a bowl (after cleaning them and cutting them into small pieces) together with the sugar. We leave them like this for 1 hour.
2. Beat the egg whites until frothy and add the oil, walnuts and pears. Mix on the lowest speed of the mixer.
3. In another bowl, sift the flour and add the salt, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.
4. Add the flour mixture to the mixer bowl and mix again with the mixer at the lowest speed (we just want to mix the ingredients).
5. Bake in a floured and buttered cake tin (with a hole in the centre), in a preheated oven at 165°C for 70 minutes.
